PHILIPPE’S COMMUTER

la petite histoire

Philippe needed a bike adapted to his very specific needs. After a car accident several years ago, which reduced his manual abilities as he was an amputee in both hands, it was essential to find a geometry and position that would enable him to ride comfortably and safely.
Given his primary use for urban commuting along the Seine, we customized the geometry with an open steering angle and extended caster to improve stability.
Philippe wanted a bike with timeless aesthetics, rather than one focused solely on agility. We therefore adjusted the angle of the top tube to ensure a relaxed, high riding position, without compromising the bike’s overall appearance.
